Steve Dickie established Outcome Delivery Consulting (ODC) Ltd in 2010 to provide consultancy services to clients focused on change leadership, programme management, capability development, business transformation, benefits realisation and cost rationalisation to achieve successful outcome delivery.

ODC has collaborated with a network of Consultants & Associates to provide broader specialist expertise and consultancy services for clients in: portfolio optimisation; implementing agile working practices; information governance & EDRMS; process redesign & automation: shared services; capability building, & training. As a result of this successful collaboration, Steve has established Outcome Delivery Network Ltd, to provide specialist expertise support to clients from a group of consultants who will link their income to the benefits delivered for clients.

Increasing Confidence in Outcome Delivery

ODC utilises skills developed from a decade of consulting at senior levels in Big 4 organisations and major outsourcing organisations. Steve realised that clients needed increased focus on benefits realisation and increased confidence in delivering the outcomes desired from their investment in specialist consulting support. So in taking up various interim business improvement and change leadership roles, Steve implemented leading practice benefits realisation approaches successfully and developed an engagement model that links fee income to Outcomes Delivered.

Steve Dickie is a qualified Coach and takes real pleasure in supporting clients in achieving both business and personal objectives in working hard together.

Steve has been a Member of Isochron Group for ten years, an organisation of consultants who specialise in innovation in benefits realisation using an approach called Dimension4. Steve worked with the Chairman of Isochron, and Dimension4 author, Alan Fowler, to develop the D4 techniques and sponsored their adoption into PricewaterhouseCoopers and Serco Consulting. Steve has recently co-developed with Alan Fowler a new Assured Outcome Delivery approach – with innovative Benefits Realisation ideas developed from implementing D4 over the last decade.

Since the first time I met Steve he has talked my language – simple and straight forward. We recently embarked on 4 game changing projects which Steve very quickly grasped, and then got down on paper a plan to deliver. I underestimated the stakeholder management part that Steve would play in getting the affected teams on board. The transformation programme is ahead of schedule, on budget and also now attracting positive attention from elsewhere in the group.

Personally Steve is a brass tacks kind of person who can communicate at the board level one minute and at the front line the next adapting his approach to suit the circumstances. He is very driven, knowledgeable and starts every project with the end in sight, utilising his very simple but effective Assured Outcome Delivery (AOD) approach, he cleverly sets measurable targets for some un-measurable things. He is also well networked and respected by his peers and is someone I would have no problem recommending to do a similar exercise – just not till the one he’s working on for me is finished!
